Today is a day much like the day I wrote 'Aurora'. That day, however, I was out with Steve Dye when the snow came flying.

This morning I awoke at 3:30 and headed downstairs for the bathroom. Ran into Ezra coming in from work on my way back upstairs. I looked out my window and the roof across was clear. I woke again to long distant thunder- seemed like the sound rumbled for half a minute. Heard it twice, and it was snowing. Work was cancelled due to the snow, so I put on the wool and grabbed the camera. The crows as usual were completely uncooperative. Someday they'll play nice. But I got some pictures I liked.
